In his role as Director of Research, Dr. Wouter Geerts leads Skift Research’s efforts to provide the best proprietary data products for the travel industry. Beyond this, he delivers research with a focus on the hotel sector, short-term rentals, and travel tech. Wouter completed a PhD on sustainability in the hospitality industry at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor in International Hospitality Management. He has worked in different roles in and with the hotel industry.
