Innovation, technology and sustainability to reactivate the tourism industry
TIS2021 closed its second edition highlighting the current need to restore tourism demand in a sustainable and smart way. During three days, Tourism Innovation Summit reunited 5.286 in-person attendees from 37 different countries and 4.711 virtual attendees in streaming from 19 countries and 5 continents.
Tourism Innovation Summit 2021 has been the international meeting point where companies and leaders in the travel and tourism industry have been able to analyse what strategies to implement to reposition destinations and their tourism products to boost their competitiveness. Last year, TIS – Tourism Innovation Summit was a success story to demonstrate that events, conferences, and tradeshows can be celebrated in a safe way during the pandemic. But this year has been the year to boost TIS2021 to the next level, showing that it is the must-attended event to discover the latest innovations and technological solutions that will help the travel and tourism industry to restart.
From November 10 to 12, 163 exhibitors showcased at FIBES (Seville) the latest innovations and technological solutions of leading companies for the tourism sector, such as Accenture, Amadeus, CaixaBank, City Sightseeing Worldwide, Deloitte, Evolutio Genesys, EY, ForwardKeys, Mabrian, Mastercard, Telefónica Empresas, Cloudbeds, Convertix, Globant, Minsait or Orange, among many others.
Besides, the Tourism Innovation Global Summit gathered 432 international speakers about the different segments of the industry: destinations, hospitality, travel & mobility, distribution channels, attractions & activities, leisure & culture, MICE and business travel. Among with agendas design for each professional profile: CEOs, CMOs & CSOs, CIOs, Revenue Managers, DMCs, and three institutional agendas (Ministerial Agenda, Regional Tourism Counselors Agenda and Tourism General Managers Agenda).
