Silvia Avilés

Silvia studied Journalism and Advertising in Barcelona. During that period she had an exchange program at the University of Antwerpen in Belgium, that gave her a sense of a global perspective as well as a large number of international friendships and connections. She is an experienced event and communications expert truly dedicated to connect people, projects and needs to be served. She is really passionate about innovation and new technologies and the impact of it to our society. In 2015 she co-founded NEBEXT with three partners, the leading B2B event organizer in Spain today. From that day she is leading all the marketing and communications of the group and of all the events. In 2020, she started as Event Director of Tourism Innovation Summit, a new event to boost the travel industry towards a more sustainable, digital, innovative and inclusive one. In 2021, she finishes her Executive Program at IESE (PDD). Silvia is committed to expand a digital mindset in all the organizations as well as in all the events delivering memorable customer experiences, innovative campaigns and positive impact on territories.
