Ariana Fonseca

Ariana has a master’s degree in Strategic Management of Tourist Destinations from the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies. She presented the thesis “The Competitiveness of Tourist Destinations from the Perspective of the French Outbound Market”, after interning for the Turismo de Portugal Team in Paris. She has a degree in General Studies, with a Major in History from the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, spending a semester at the University of Amsterdam as part of the Erasmus Program.
She was an assistant in the Department of Tourism and Culture at the World Tourism Organization where she previously completed an internship in the Regional Department for Europe.
She has been part of the Turismo de Portugal Team in Madrid since 2018 where she works as Product Manager.
