Franklin Carpenter Fernandez

Franklin Carpenter is director of tourism advisory at Horwath HTL Spain, with over 20 years of experience leading projects and teams in the tourism, education, and hospitality industries. As a founding member and first President of the Chilean Association of Tourism Professionals, he also served as director of Chile’s Federation of Tourism Enterprises FEDETUR. Before moving to Spain, he led for 7 years the Hospitality, Tourism and Gastronomy School at INACAP, Chile, pioneer in vocational training and considered as one of the biggest and most prestigious technical schools in South America, overseeing curriculum, accreditation, and outreach. He has worked on over 100 consultancy projects for tourism organizations in Chile and most recently in Spain, focusing on Sustainability, technology and digital transformation.
