Joan Cortés

Bachelor’s in business administration & management (ADE); General Management Development program (PDG) at IESE, and Certified Public Accountant (ROAC), with more than 25 years of experience in finance, M&A, real estate and management in multinational companies and family offices.

He was an auditor at Mazars and Deloitte; Subsequently, he was Finance Controller at NH Hoteles and Director of Administration and Finance at Stage Entertainment Spain, one of the main live entertainment groups in Europe.

In 2014, he joined the family office Grupo Emperador, as CFO and COO, becoming CEO in 2020. At that stage he managed assets of €1.4 billion, leading the company’s M&A process between 2014 and 2019, and the BME Growth IPO of the SOCIMI Emperador Properties in 2022.
