Panagiotis Markantonatos

Panagiotis Markantonatos is a Policy Officer – Economic Analyst at the B3 Unit “Sustainable Growth and Business Environment” of the Directorate General for Structural Reforms of the European Commission. He has worked as Head of Cabinet to the Secretary General of Tourism Development (Ministry of Tourism) and to the General Secretary for Coordination of the Presidency of the Government in Greece. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of structural reforms in the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister of Greece. He has a Bachelor Degree in Economic Science from the Athens University and a MSc in Innovation Management from the University of Strasbourg. He is the valedictorian of the Tourism Development department of the Greek School of Public Administration (Class 2011). Prior to joining the Greek public service he worked in the advertising industry. He is pationate about branding, innovation, and startups.
